The Order Opens Its Doors
By Magister Aldwyn Hale
Pathfinders —
For a long while now, the Order has kept its work quiet: building the Ledger, teaching the quest-givers their voices, and laying the stones of the Way one at a time. Today, a few of those stones are ready to be walked.
Outdare is now in alpha. It is free, it is early, and it is Android-first — with iOS to follow by way of TestFlight. We are opening places in waves, and we would be glad to count you among the first to go out, look, and bring back proof.
What you can do today
- Forge a pathfinder — a likeness all your own, which grows as you earn relics.
- Answer the quest-giver — photograph real-world wonders, walk a distance, or run a scavenger hunt; your finds are weighed fairly by AI vision.
- Climb the Ledger of Finds — a leaderboard you can only rise on by truly going outside.
- Swear to an order — the Emberkin, the Tidewatchers, or the Stonetreaders — and wage the War of the Three Orders.
- Keep a streak alight, earn trophies, and recruit companions through the Lineage.
What comes next
The alpha is where the road gets shaped. Early pathfinders steer what we build — what you witness, and what you tell us, becomes the next stretch of the Way. Watch this space for tidings of new quests, new relics, and the turning of the first season’s war.
If you would walk with us, send word to the Order.
Welcome, pathfinder. Walk well.
