The Stillness Lifts

No new roads this time, pathfinder — only three faults mended, and all three of the kind that make you doubt your own eyes rather than blame the Order. A gesture that went nowhere. A box that opened onto nothing. A summons that called and then thought better of it.

Mended in this patch

• Your pathfinder moves again — send a hail and the figure performs it, as it always should have. The gestures had fallen still in recent builds, and not because the couriers failed: every frame was waiting on the Order’s roads the whole time. The app had simply been sent out without the address, and so stood politely in place rather than admit it. It now carries that address in its bones, where no hurried departure can leave it behind.
• The box you open is a box — a mystery box had taken to opening onto its own glow and nothing else, the chest itself gone from the moment it mattered most. Every rarity, not only the ones you told us about. Lid, lock and ember-banding are all back where they belong.
• The call to a newer build leads somewhere — when a newer build walks abroad, pressing Update now actually carries you to it, and the notice holds its ground until you go. It had been slipping quietly away and letting you wander on unchanged, which is no way to keep an Order in step.
