New Doors, Honest Endings

Two doors this patch — one in, one out — and both are yours to open. The Order believes an oath freely sworn must be freely released, and that entering should never cost more taps than the adventure itself.

New in this patch

• Enter by Apple’s own door. On iPhone, Continue with Apple now stands first at both the login and the signup. One tap, Face ID, and you are on the road — and if you choose to hide your email, the Order respects the veil and never sees it.
• An honest ending, if you want one. Settings now carries Delete account — the true kind. It asks you to write out your intent so no thumb-slip can do it, and when you confirm, your account, your records and your name in the Ledger are gone from our shelves entirely. No email, no waiting, no “are you sure” purgatory. We would rather you stay — but the door out works, and it is yours.
• The Quartermaster steps forward. The welcome now spares a page for the Quartermaster’s stores — what the copper in your purse is for and where it is spent — and the replay tour (Settings → Replay tour) gains a stop at the purse itself, for those who joined before he learned to speak up.
• The ranks are within reach. The old ladder to Grand Master was, in truth, unclimbable — a number so far past any lifetime of walking that no pathfinder would ever see it. The curve has been re-forged: the early ranks come quickly now, the middle ranks ask real dedication, and Grand Master falls to about a year of faithful questing. The Ledger still ranks by deeds and streaks alone; that promise is unchanged.
